Package Details
Timing and Days
- One Dingo encounter is held daily.
- There are only 4 spaces available per encounter.
- Dingo encounters are held at 3.00pm – 3.20pm
- Patrons need to meet at the information counter 15 minutes prior to encounter.
Bookings
- Bookings need to be made at the Information Desk by 2.00pm on the day of the encounter.
- Available only to participants who are eight (8) years of age and above
Extras
- A professional photographer will take photos of your encounter. These photos are available for purchase from our photography lab 30 minutes after completion.
Terms and Conditions
- Available only to participants who are eight (8) years of age and above
- As these walks form part of the dingoes' exercise and enrichment, it will not be a formal session
- All participants must agree to follow all instructions by the handlers
- Participants may be asked to cease the walk at anytime for whatever reason at the handlers' discretion
- Please ensure that you wash your hands both before and after the encounter
- No personal items or food are permitted during the experience, with the exception of cameras
- Please remember that dingoes are wild animals and quite capable of exercising their natural instincts
- Do not under any circumstances attempt to pat or roughly handle the dingoes
- Dingoes can be patted under the supervision of the keepers
- Australia Zoo does not take any responsibility for any injuries that are received during the experience, including scratches and bites. First Aid will be called if required
- An Australia Zoo photographer will be present during the experience to capture the action. Photos can be viewed and purchased at the Fujifilm Photography Lab
