Easter EGGS-travaganza

If you're on a chocolate high this Easter, we have just the place to burn some energy! Easter at Australia Zoo means stacks of FUN, free face painting and of course a visit from the one and only Easter Bilby!

Silent Auction!

Bid in our SILENT AUCTION to win an exclusive Wildlife Encounter with Terri, Bindi and Robert each day.

  • All funds raised during the Silent Auction will be used to purchase satellite trackers for four critically endangered Olive Ridley Turtles.
  • These turtles were victims of ghost net entanglements and rescued from Cape York by Land Sea Rangers and the Australia Zoo Rescue Unit.
  • They have since undergone operations to remove necrotic flippers at the Australian Wildlife Hospital here at Australia Zoo and are currently being rehabilitated.
  • Following the attachment of the satellite trackers, these turtles will be taken back up to Cape York and released.
  • This can be your chance to meet these Olive Ridley Turtles along with Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin!

If your bunnies are hungry, then bring them along to Australia Zoo for a delicious FREE breakfast on Good Friday, 2 April! We're opening the gates early at 8am so you can enjoy bacon, eggs, sausages, spaghetti, toast and lots more! Don't miss out - brekkie finishes at 9.30am.

Hot cross buns and eggs-ellent fun

FREE breakfast, Easter Eggs-pedition and Bindi performances offer something for everyone!

Hop to Australia Zoo this Easter for STACKS of wildlife action and more singing and dancing than you can poke a stick at, with Terri, Bindi and Robert all set to get in on the fun! Crikey!

The fun all starts on Good Friday when the gates open early at 8am. Come along early to get a belly full as you enjoy a delicious FREE breakfast, and pick up a hot cross bun when you are greeted by the Jungle Bunnies. Plus we are giving away STACKS of yummy chocolate Easter eggs thanks to Nestle Peters!

But don't eat too much chocolate, because on Easter Sunday you can have a go at Australia Zoo's MASSIVE Easter EGGS-pedition! Find as many eggs as you can throughout the Zoo and take home some ripper prizes! Wooo-hoo!

Bindi will have the kids out of their seats and dancing along as she performs daily, and check out all the full-on wildlife action with Terri and Wes feeding the crocs in the Crocoseum from Good Friday until Sunday 11 April. What a ripper!

But you don't have to just watch Terri, Bindi and Robert in action, you can meet them as they take you behind the scenes and get hands on in your own private wildlife encounter! Bid on the silent auction to be the lucky winner of this daily experience, with all funds raised going to support research on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve. The silent auction and exclusive encounters will be held daily from Good Friday until Saturday 10 April.

Limited places are still available for your chance to meet Terri and Bindi Irwin at Australia Zoo on April 11. All you have to do is make a booking through Australia Zoo Travel for your chance to meet the Wildlife Warriors in person! Wooo-hoo!

Throughout Easter there will be visits from the Easter Bilby and Bunny, and craft workshops for the kids. All the FUN continues throughout the school holidays with free face painting and special performances by the Gubbi Gubbi dance group.

With 14 free wildlife shows everyday, plus all of the egg-citing action of Easter, the place to bring the kids these school holidays is Australia Zoo, where Crocs Rule!
